Jordan Love, the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, recently underwent an MRI after sustaining an injury during the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.
According to the results, the MRI showed no significant structural damage, which is a positive sign for Love and the Packers. The quarterback experienced some discomfort, but the medical evaluation ruled out any severe injury like an ACL tear or long-term concern.

Love’s status for the upcoming week will depend on his recovery process and how he responds to treatment. The team is taking a cautious approach, and his participation in pract ice will likely be limited in the short term. However, given the clean MRI, Love could be back in action sooner rather than later.
For now, the Packers are monitoring his condition closely, with the coaching staff preparing a backup plan in case Love needs more time to recover. Backup QB Malik Willis is in line to start the next game in their Week 2 home opener against the Indianapolis Colts if need be.
The team’s medical staff will likely reassess Loves status daily to ensure he’s in good shape before returning him to full play.
