The Showdown: Falcons vs. Bucs, Here are a few captain thoughts I have landed on in this showdown.

Baker Mayfield’s Buccaneer Odyssey:

Baker “The Cannon” Mayfield—quarterback extraordinaire. Baker Mayfield’s journey with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been quite an interesting one, evolving into what can be called his “Buccaneer Odyssey.” After stints with the Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers, and a brief period with the Los Angeles Rams, Mayfield has found a home with his star receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. And let’s not forget rookie running back Bucky Irving. Some of my lineups will surely have him as captain?

Kirk Cousins’ Chess Moves:

Kirk Cousins’ approach to the 2024 NFL season can be likened to a game of chess—methodical, strategic, and always thinking a few moves ahead. Often labeled as “steady” or “safe,” Cousins has spent his career proving he’s more than just a game manager, and this year with the Atlanta Falcons, his play resembles a grandmaster at work.“Pawn to E4″. Will he be apart of this roster?

Mike Evans’s 1,000-Yard Magic:

Michael Lynn Evans III—born on a hot Texas day, probably with a football tucked under one arm and a playbook in the other. Galveston, Texas. He already have 3TD.s, 214 yards and 18 receptions. 1,000 yard magic, why stop now?

The Falcons are favored by a slim margin—Spread: Falcons (-1.5). Moneyline: Falcons (-125); Buccaneers (+105). Over/under: 43.5 points. Translation? Vegas is scratching its head, wondering if it’s a coin flip or a crystal ball situation.

This game is either going to be a shootout or a one sided onslaught or 4-2 build. I am going for the 4-2 build.
